Last Thursday, I was pretty nervous, and no, not about Lebron. Kim asked me if I would take a few engagement photos of her and her fiance. She photographs. I edit. That’s how it’s suppose to be. But no no. Kim insisted I could take on her task of capturing great pics. So here are a few. Should I keep my job as an editor? Or take a shot at being a photographer? You can be the judge. Comment. I’m photographing Katie & Aaron’s wedding in September, so this past weekend we got things started with a great engagement photo shoot! They said they wanted to have an urban feel to their photos, so we went exploring! We had so much on playgrounds, junkyards & buildings that were barely standing– they were such great sports, and climbed on everything I asked them to. This was the kind of couple that makes my job easy– no need for me to tell them to show affection, or to make each other laugh– they had that covered! These two were so much fun, and I can’t wait to photograph their big day.
