This lovely couple came into the studio a few weeks ago to have their portraits taken… They’ve been married for 60+ years!  What a pleasure to talk to, and what an inspiration!  He spent his career working as a judge, and she as a teacher… impressive pair!  They intend on putting their photos together in a book to give to their great-grandchildren… I suggested adding text to the book– words of wisdom– on work, love, marriage, life, etc… It should turn out to be a treasured keepsake for years to come.  

With a completely sold-out day of mini-sessions at the Shaker Square Playmatters Toystore last weekend, we had a very busy Saturday!  Thanks to the help of my boyfriend and my mom, we had so much fun!  Stories were told, songs were sung, and jokes were shared… The portraits from the day really captured the kids– from sassy to sweet… happy to sad.  Our next stops bring us back to the Avon store, and then on to a back-to-back appearance in Solon!  We can’t wait to get some more great kid portraits!

This past Saturday we began this Spring’s installment of mini photo sessions at Playmatters Toystore in Avon.  With only a few time slots unfilled, we saw many familiar faces, and got to meet some adorable new ones!  As always we want the kids to have fun during their photo session, so this year we came armed with a list of questions… Here is a sneak peek at some of our favorite shots from this weekend’s portraits (along with some of our favorite kid quotes)!

For my niece’s third birthday, I wanted to make her invitations really pop!  She came in for a quick studio session, and I put together this 4×5.5″ folded birthday party invitation.  I printed it on the pearl paper, which added a little sparkle and was the perfect finishing touch!
