This little cutie has to be one of the most smiley babies Kim has photographed… she even giggled every time she saw a new photo of herself at her parents’ ordering session. When Kim saw the large velvet print that baby G’s parents ordered of the above picture, she loved it so much that she wants to order one to hang here in the studio! I can’t tell you how many times people ask me “are other families like this?” ”Are your other shoots this chaotic?” I always promise that it’s not just you…
So, for those of you who may be trying to call my bluff, I thought I’d share this family photo I recently did for my mom’s birthday. There were 8 kids (ages 2 months to 15 years old) and two grandparents. Some kids were cold, some were hot, some were happy, and some were not.
It took me all day, and a LOT of Photoshop to give my mom an image of her family as she would like to believe they are!!
Here’s a peek into the making of this “perfect” family photo… oooooh, are they lucky to have me!!! ;)

But Baby Ella was crying, and my dad’s eyes were closed!!! So…
Now came the tricky part… Baby Austin decided he just didn’t want to look at me at all that day. So, because I love my mom, I had his mom bring him back to my house on a happier day to show off his happy face!
Well Mom… Happy Birthday!!

Here’s How It Works: $125 covers a 25 minute outdoor mini session, 20 to 40 proofs & studio viewing
- We will set up an Ordering Session with you to view the images 3 weeks from the day of the shoot
- Albums, Wall Art and Prints can be purchased at regular price (see the “Investment” tab above for more details)
- Have multiple children? Do you want to be in the photos with your kids and bring the dog too? No problem! The $125 covers up to 6 people!
- And just like with our studio shoots if you’re looking to have a group shot make sure that outfits coordinate. This doesn’t mean they should match, but colors should mesh (bright colors with bright colors OR pastels with pastels) And reminder to remove tattoos, milk mustaches, and anything that’s “snot” wanted in your photos ;-)

We just wanted to give everyone a heads up to let you know that at the end of the month of May 2012 we will be archiving all of our photographs taken from shoots earlier than March 1, 2012. Our hard drives need a little space for future shoots. This does not mean that your photographs will be lost, they will simple be stored off-site for safe keeping. Please note, there will be a retrieval fee associated with reopening those files once they are off-site. If you would like to schedule an ordering session or have any questions please give me a call here at the studio!

6 months, 26 weeks, 185 days, no matter how you look at it, July 4th marks the midway mark until the end of the year. For those of you who celebrate Christmas in July or just plan way ahead, 6 months is not that much time until we all start thinking about holiday celebrations, cards and gifts. Time truly flies when we’re having fun here in Cleveland on those seldom sunny days. We all know that we have to cherish and enjoy each and every nice day because just around the corner snowflakes will be falling and we’ll find ourselves inside our homes freezing. Ok ok, enough of all the dreary and sad ranting. My point is that 6 months from now Christmas will be here and when it comes to scheduling a photo shoot, we want you to start thinking about it now. Kim will be out of town for the majority of October so our fall sessions are booking quickly. Even if you would like to have some blue sky photos for those oh so desired holiday cards, call us today and we’ll do our best to talk the rain gods out of putting a damper on your day.
