…5-6-7-8! This former cheerleader and her football kicking hubby were our champs last weekend when we photographed their Cleveland wedding. Yes, many of our poses began with that countdown to get that spunky bride ready, and I had so much fun doing it.
Jess loved her wedding (especially her cake!)… All brides should, but not all show it through their exuberance all day long. It was such a pleasure and honor to get to be the one to capture the day for her. This was the All-American wedding day, from the glowing couple to their beaming families. The bride’s dad helped her with her shoes, her brother teared up when he saw her for the first time, and the groom surprised his dad with a replica of his wedding band. The pastor cared for this pair, and it was evident in his words, and I wanted the toasts to go on forever– definitely the best I’ve ever heard!
This girl was also all about her pictures!! She even gave me permission to stand on her dad’s shoulders during the ceremony if it meant getting the right shot! Lucky for dad, the beautiful church gave us plenty to work with and saved him! It was a long day of photos, but I could’ve stayed and continued to photograph this pair forever… they were so comfortable, so natural, and so expressive… and it shows in their photos.
