In the meantime here is some helpful information if you have a newborn photography session already set up or if you’re thinking of booking one.
Newborn sessions are scheduled as 2 hour session, but may take longer. Newborns require a lot of patience. Those little ones need comfort, food, and potty clean-ups! Because we often try to get the babies to sleep, there may be some waiting… they’re the bosses!
Newborn Photos can be done on-location at home or in our Beachwood Studio. Our studio has the optimal set of for newborn sessions. We create cozy, warmed environment with the best studio lighting. We have many blankets and props that can be used or you are welcome to bring in your own sentimental props. We use natural light for on-location photography so a sunny, bright day is best. We are able to bring the studio to you– backdrop, lights, and all but additional fees apply. Approximately 10-15 square feet is needed when the studio set-up is used.
We often photograph the little ones in the nude. Please prepare for the shoot by loosening or removing diapers and socks, as to avoid lines and marks on the baby’s skin. We recommend removing these items 30 minutes before the session.
