One thing we have all learned in recent months has been to pivot… to rearrange our priorities, and to find new ways to keep going while faced with unprecedented interruptions, fears, and challenges.
My photography studio is no exception. I have relocated my Beachwood photo studio to my home, while I work while my kids are napping or behaving themselves. How is it going? So well that I have decided to officially move my studio home! Because of the mask mandates, and for all of our comfort, I am exclusively working outdoors this year – with the exception of the occasional headshot photo session – always from a safe distance.
I have gone to clients yards, and welcomed many to my own. I have photographed family sessions, senior photos, outdoor newborn photo shoots, and even safely captured a new family bringing their baby home during the stay-at-home order from outside their windows.
Because we won’t be working indoors when the nasty weather hits, my schedule is busier than ever — and thankfully the weather this year has been nothing but wonderful.
